What I love about France is that this trend is GENDER NEUTRAL.
Guys and girls are rocking these two.
These Stan Smiths have been EVERYWHERE in France- since maybe last year.
The best part about these babies is you can dress them up or down. They’re SO so so VERSATILE. I’ve seen them styled with practically every outfit… so of course I broke down and bought some this year. The most popular color is GREEN. But I got Navy because well… capsule wardrobe 4 lyfe.
But now that the weather is getting warmer, I’ve noticed people switching over to VANS.
Which is such a blast from the past, I LOVE. They’re more casual, laid back. The canvas is breathable. But I’ve seen the leather styles on guys (I picked up a white leather pair for my boyfriend on Valentine’s Day) and even one of the presenters on NBA EXTRA wore some with his suit.

Again, maybe it’s just summer time? But GUYS and GIRLS are cuffing their jeans, slacks, pants.

I’m not a huge fan of this aesthetic, but they are loving it right now.
Every French girl has a cute tropical stack of bracelets and maybe some chunky rings. This year I’ve been seeing lots of fringe earrings too.
Orangey Red Lips + Nails
In the dictionary next to ‘French Girl Style’ it’s forever written ‘RED LIP’.
But instead of blue-red, I’ve seen lots of orangey reds. It’s a fun summer tone that adds a pop of color to a neutral look.
So, there you go! I chose things that I’ve seen EVERYONE doing- not just trends from magazines or bloggers that are so styled they look like they’re wearing costumes.
