Get FIT during Quarantine… for free

We all know exercise has its benefits ( improves mood, weight loss , maintains muscle mass, gives you more energy, the list goes on) but don’t let a gym or studio closure have you headed towards the couch for 3 hours of a new show.

As we practice social distancing, fitness studios and their instructors have turned to virtual classes. Working out through these studios’ online courses is a great way to keep healthy, connect with others online (many are LIVE), and support a local business at the same time.

Sexy, Hot Pilates

With studios in Brentwood + West Hollywood, this pilates studio is all about getting you fire “arms, abs, and a$$.” I’m here for it. I’ve been really enjoying their donation-based classes on Instagram LIVE via their page.

Beachy, Tone It Up

These ladies are some OG entrepreneurs of the online fitness community. I used to do their workouts in college and still love them. They have expanded their influence to a paid fitness program, food products, an app and more! They have free workouts on Youtube, Instagram + their app.

Urban Ballerina, Bandier:

Bandier will be hosting Instagram Live workouts every day at 4PM EST that can be done at home.

Preppy, Blogilates

Another OG entrepreneurs of the online fitness/ Youtube community. These were more college workouts I’d squeeze into a day packed of studies. She has expanded beyond Youtube, Tik Tok + active wear and accessories.

So you think you can dance, 305 Fitness

This dance-cardio party is one of NYC’s most popular workout classes.Founder Sadie Kurzban is now offering free cardio dance live streams twice a day on YouTube at noon and 6PM EST.

If you’re looking to complete your yoga flow at home, CorePower Yoga is offering free streaming live classes for you each day.

The most well known endurance class focuses on intervals and targeting certain zones of your heart rate. OT is now uploading new at-home 30 minute workout routines daily. You won’t need any special equipment, but the instructors do get creative and have you utilize objects you can find around the house like coffee jugs in lieu of weights.

Barry’s
