Espadrille – Maison de l’Espadrille

I’ve been having the worst luck with travel shoes lately. So while we were in Bassin d’Arcachon I like to call it the Cape Cod of France, I picked up these AUTHENTIC espadrilles. They’re 100% made in France, even the materials! And are well made. If you scroll up and look at the rope part, it’s irregular. Because the sole was hand glued in-BETWEEN the cords. Meaning they’ll last and last.

I picked them up at a small open-air market and there were SO many colors. I ended up choosing basic blue, they looked great with my jeans and will match everything.

Music – Claude François

CLO CLO!!!  I’m a nerd. I love classic music and of course that extends to French music. He has some major hits- some original songs and some French versions of popular American songs.

Yucca Plant

The Yucca Plant (Yucca gloriosa). Another easy to care for plant, I picked up this funky yucca. I thought he had such a great shape and would be fun on a table and eventually the floor.

Rosehip Oil – Sukin

You may have seen rosehip oil in my skincare routine. I love this stuff! However, I was looking for a more natural and cheap product. I’m so happy I found this one. It’s organic, carbon neutral (!) , cruelty-free, and just PURE rosehip oil. Love the price-point as well. I use it after I wash my face and down my neck.

Umbrella Plant

The Umbrella Plant (Schefflera arboricola). An Umbrella Plant is very easy to care for AND it will clean the air. I chose one with variegated leaves. I thought the splashes of yellow looked great with the yellow-green shade of the Yucca.

Deodorant  Weleda

I’m hooked on natural deodorant. This one isn’t a paste but a liquid in a spray bottle. It dries quickly and clean no sticky residue. This one gives a subtle fragrance, while herbal extracts neutralize bacteria and prevent that nasty BO smell.

I chose the “Wild Rose” scent but am really curious about the “Sage”.  It doesn’t have any harmful aluminum or chemicals.
